Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
Completely agree, but he’s probably still playing at his winger weight rather than his lone striker weight. He’s also up against Liam Lindsay who is playing in the middle of a back 3. He’s a man mountain. Lubala won’t win one aerial duel against him all day. I think that’s why Norris is bypassing Lubala (consciously) and going over the top to their goalkeeper. Kone would fare much better, but obviously he’s unavailable. Vokes wouldn’t be able to shift laterally to slow down their build up play, so I agree with the Udoh suggestion. Definitely wouldn’t make any subs hastily here. A good showing so far.
Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
If this was the case then the data wouldn’t have replaced him. Tiny sample size so far, but Norris looks like the best distributor we’ve have since Stocko - and his kicking was unrivalled at L1 level at the expense of his agility.
Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
Lubala gives us very little presence up front unfortunately. I'd like to see Udoh on in the second half.

Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
Leahy with excellent reading of the game with a fantastic clearance off the line. He might lack some attributes but instances like the clearance positioning are the leadership, experience and street smarts that the data doesn’t necessarily pick up on.
We’ve been pretty good so far. A few errors but mostly from lack of cohesion rather than lack of quality.

Tbh I've used totalsportek a few times... once you get past all the adds is normally ok
Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
He's so much better when he takes players on isn't he? Just got booked though, very harsh yellow.

Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
He must be outrageously good with the ball, then, because Rav was one of the best in the league
