Re: Reading offer Bearwood training ground to Wycombe
Why does someone of Rob’s age and wealth put up with all this? Wouldn’t he be better going on a world cruise or something?
Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
How do you mean "that"?
Him not playing doesn't suddenly mean we can't win does it?

Re: Ryan Tafazolli leaves the club on loan
Easing down towards end of his career, one eye on coaching or media, some warm weather that will help recovery and fitness, and new culture, good lifestyle and probably a decent wage, big fish in small pond etc. This is a great move for him.
We get carried away with our own reality and game, him battling against relegation on loan at Shrewsbury would be cool for us to see but isn't the height of every person's ambitions.
Re: Reading offer Bearwood training ground to Wycombe
Yes, player sales of our young players are probably making a profit in recent years Olise's sale and then sell on fee plus Smith's 2 million (who came through the acadamy before going to Cambridge) and other sales last season quite likely far outweigh the cost of running the Acadamy, but not the cost of setting it up in the first place.
Winding up is more likely than administration as it is only Dai who could put the club into it and he would lose out if he went that way. If he went for the former he would also lose out as well, but I am sure he will enjoy putting us fans though the wringer. Don't forget he has done this twice before when he could have put those clubs into administration.
Re: FA Cup 4th Round Draw
Yeah, I thought I could cope with not watching the FA cup and just excited to be off to Crawley next week, but turns out I can’t and I want my cake and to eat it!

Re: New training ground?
The original plan had the runway pushed to the east (and not covering the M25) which would put it right into the training ground.
I have always been of the mind set that Heathrow expansion would get built if a business case was made for it by the government of the day, but I would be absolutely flabbergasted if they do go with the “over the M25” design of it.
The delays and congestion it would cause on an already delayed and congested section of the busiest stretch of UK motorway for at least a decade would be horrendous. I wouldn’t be surprised if the final design is smaller, and shifted east putting the training ground in a less than favourable position.
