Buy the Kassam and finish it. The seats are already the right colour.

Oxford will need a new ground in 15 months.
They are deep in the mire, could be the new Brighton.

Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
I was at Franchise once surrounded by a beered up bunch berating our players one of whom had to keep telling the loudest he was getting the names wrong.
Luckily, it being MK I was able to easily move seats.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
I think most of us are mystified why the latest owners bought us in the first place. Best league performance (bar the Championship season), declining crowds. We are hardly a sleeping giant. And as with all these things its about timing. ML walks without notice we are likely to implode before a new party comes along. And as we are little Wycombe I suspect the same amount of fuss would be made as it did for Maidstone back in the day rather than questions in the House of Commons.
Re: Other Football
If you're not appreciated by your owners in this business, it is best to move on.

Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Are we done if that happens? Surely we would be very attractive to the host of foreign investors who seem to be constantly circling football league clubs?

Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Things were fragile when Hayes left and even more fragile under the supporters trust. Every club operates on a knife-edge now.

Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
I hear you. But there was something magical about our promotion team and the amount of written off players we had in that squad. Whether it be Alex Samuels, Bayo or Darius these were guys who were discarded for one reason on another and it made that night at Wembley so much more emotional. Dare I say IF we get over the line this time it will be amazing but not as magical. And it is the first time in my memory where our entire being is so fragile. Something happens to our owner's fortune and we are done.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Exactly this.
As exciting as the new signings and challenging for promotion is, we’re completely at the mercy of our owner choosing to continue funding us.
Otherwise we’re in exactly the same situation as Reading.
