Re: Does anyone genuinely believe we’re going to finish second this season?
It’s a bit of a pinch yourself season really for us isn’t it? I know we’ve got a wealthy owner but to be in this position with only a few games to go- seriously- what a time! I reckon we have the players to go up but, really, form over the next few weeks will determine if we really do. Big but not decisive game coming up :)
Re: Match Day Thread: Peterborough
I think Dodds has been tactically spot on so far. Bearing in mind he is getting to know the squad, when we have started badly in games - changes he has made have improved us every time.
With regards the 3 at the back - I suggested this when Taylor re-signed and I got shot down by EVERYONE. I'm not after sympathy, thumbs ups or thumbs downs, but it makes so much sense right now.
Re: Other Football
Amazing that Leeds might blow it again after losing to Pompey today, despite having a goal difference of plus 49. Now only two points ahead of Burnley.
Re: Countdown to Wrexham
There's got to be a good chance that Deadpool shows his face (or not) for this one, given the magnitude of the game and the proximity to Heathrow.

Re: Today...
...in 2013 (12 years ago) Matt Bloomfield missed Wycombe Wanderers 4-1 League Two defeat to Rochdale with a long-term pelvic shear injury.
In 2019 (six years ago) Matt Bloomfield played 89 minutes for Wycombe Wanderers in a 1-1 League One draw with Sunderland at Adams Park (replaced by Curtis Thompson). It was Matt’s 500th appearance for Wycombe Wanderers, becoming just the fifth player in the club’s history to achieve such a feat. It was celebrated here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05glvSs0gIU
In 2021 (four years ago) Matt Bloomfield wasn’t included in the squad for Wycombe Wanderers 1-0 Championship defeat to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
In 2024 (one year ago) Matt Bloomfield was manager of Wycombe Wanderers for a 2-1 League One win over Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

Re: Attendance Prediction - Peterborough United (a) - Sat 8th March '25 - Match 35 in 24/25
Yes. Thousands in my own case on occasions!
Re: Match Day Thread: Peterborough
Yesterday, I would have gone with 3 at the back: Low, Taylor & Bradley, 2 holding midfielders in Scowen & Bakinson with Grimmer & Leach pushing on as wing-backs then Kone & Udoh up front with Humphreys at no.10. We seemed to be constantly one player short in midfield yesterday.
Peterborough are potentially a pretty good side. They are a young side & I think the addition in the side of Bradley & Bakinson would have helped to quash their enthusiasm.
