Re: Other Football
Hats off to GA. An absolutely brutal run of 10 games, and Shrewsbury are W3 D2 L5 in that time, with all five defeats being by the odd goal.
The fixture list begins to open up for them now.

New players tend to get a novelty bump, as we are all giddy about having another great player on the books!

Re: Man of the Match - Bristol Rovers (H)
I don’t disagree. I’m excited by Simons. But Humphteys was still outstanding
Re: Man of the Match - Bristol Rovers (H)
...that actually gets into the team or on the bench.
Re: Match Day Thread: Bristol Rovers
Enjoyed that. I always find it strange watching us look so comfortable, never looked like losing.
Xavi looks class, when he ran with the ball he looked so good.
Just need to get a front 3 going.
And my boy enjoyed it, though car sickness was not ideal only 5 minutes from home.

Re: Man of the Match - Bristol Rovers (H)
Almost any other occasion I’d have gone with Scowen who I thought was absolutely outstanding for 90, but the fact I’ve voted for Xavier just shows how incredible he was tonight. Signing him will be season defining and is the reason I think we will get promoted.
Re: Man of the Match - Bristol Rovers (H)
Humphreys could not have played as well as he did had Xavi not had the game he did
Re: Match Day Thread: Bristol Rovers
i think having a ‘proper’ right back in Back had the double benefit of allowing Harvie to play much more like he was before Christmas. That was the best I’ve seen home for a while

Re: Man of the Match - Bristol Rovers (H)
I really don't know who to give it to. Simons was superb, but so was Back on Debut, Scowen was, well, brilliant ! And what more can we say about Low and Taylor !?!? They are a formidable pairing, colossus, tonight confirms to me that they should be our first choice center back pairing
