I also guess Dan Rice wasn’t Bluffing earlier in the year when he said we could go out and do what Birmingham have done but decided to go a different way.

For the record, I’m still uneasy at this spending. I hope the academy foundations they are building the model on are going to be good and strong if this sort of investment continues. They’ll want/need a return at some point (although that may well be selling us again for squillions once we’re champions of Europe)
