I know I talk about Twitter a fair bit on here, and get the same response, but the state of some of the replies on the Exeter feed about Hartridge are just downright disrespectful. It’s not something that surprises me but man, there’s just no need. Be happy for the lad and keep scrolling. Proper trolls.

Hartridge has gone on loan to Exeter. Good move for him.

Pleased for him - they love him down there so it must have been upsetting for him to see his big move end up so disappointingly.

I don't even want to imagine us with promotion in our hands, matey making sure the camera gets in nice and close for the prepared rousing speech, only to horribly throw it away and watch him suddenly not so keen for the camera to capture his every magical word.

We are really trying not to slip, too.
