Re: Aaron Morley
I think it is inevitable that Morley will return to Bolton for 1 January. My best guess is that it is unlikely that anyone else will come in to buy him (assuming the discussion on here that he can't play for an EFL club again this season is correct) and that he will spend January as a bench-warmer at Bolton with the occasional 10-15 minute cameo.
Meanwhile, the offer we put in on 1 January, which is well below Bolton's valuation, will sit in their in-tray and, dependent on how successful we are without Morley in the 8 scheduled matches we have in January, either we increase our offer a lot closer to their valuation (if our form collapses) or they are more inclined to lower their price to nearer ours (if we carry on doing okay and aren't perceived as desperate to sign him as Bolton may hope). Come around 21.00 on 31 January we will find out if either us or Bolton have blinked.
Re: Charlton (A) tickets
The website says this
The Chairboys sold out the initial allocation of 1000 tickets in the Jimmy Seed Stand at the Valley; fans will be able to pay on the day from the South Stand ticket office. Only card payments will be accepted. There will also be a price increase of £3 per adult ticket and £2 on any concession rate.’
Re: Match Day Thread: Stevenage
I suppose Al-Hamadi hadn't done *that* much on paper to prompt Ipswich to make a move. And the King looks a much better prospect.
Re: Match Day Thread: Stevenage
That forum layout is giving me an aneurysm. We really are lucky over here
Re: Aaron Morley
I’m hoping we are drafting in Luke Moore and Rob Lee to announce the signing.
Re: Attendance Prediction - Charlton (a) - Sun 29th Dec '24 - Match 22 in 24/25

Re: Match Day Thread: Stevenage
re the goal difference, +24 now. Don't think it's ever been higher since we were promoted to the league? Finished the 21/22 Sunderland play off final season with +24, but that was after a final day win so never hit +25 before. Hopefully we score first at Charlton to reach new heights...
Re: Attendance Prediction - Stevenage (a) - Boxing Day 26th Dec '24 - Match 21 in 24/25
875 Chairboys according to Stevenage web site report.
Over 100 pay on the day. Decent effort all told.
