Re: Match Day Thread: Barnsley
Still surprised Berry not able to make the bench, but Udoh is better wide than Lubala is, so we may have a bit more of a left side tonight.
Re: Match Day Thread: Barnsley
Probably Barnsley's greatest contribution to British life is Saxon, leaders of the NWOBHM and creators of the seminal LP Wheels of Steel.
And some brass band shit as well.
Re: Match Day Thread: Barnsley
It's hard for me not to be a little reactive and feel like we will win if Kone plays, and lose if he is not in the squad.
Mind you, that could just be because he is a better 9 than anyone else we have!
Re: Match Day Thread: Barnsley
Gut feeling: Kone is in the team, and we all have a reason to be cheerful about an hour from now.
(Disclaimer: My gut feelings are about as accurate as Darwin Nunez in a tornado).
Re: Other Football
I'm not sure anyone who doesn't purposely take the "other" view could ever justify that as a red.
It's not the first Oliver decision the var lot have bottled on the day.
Thankfully the review gang have seen what pretty much everyone else saw instantly.
Re: Match Day Thread: Barnsley
@Brownie I don't think it will have any effect on "getting the players up for it"
They will all be made up for Kone as they all see what a special he is.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Taylor came across as a decent affable bloke but the football was terrible. I enjoyed being relegated under Waddock more than I did his promotion. I believe Waddock eventually tried being less gung ho which was his downfall.
