If I dare post something that isn't about MB... This X account posts updates weekly on every team's PPG and how this tracks with the expected PPG required to achieve promotion, play offs etc. Our update for this week clearly shows the recent stumbles, but we are (just) tracking ahead of the promotion line for now. We do need to improve the points return though if we are going to make 2nd though imo.

Again, it's possible to think two things at once.

Whether he was pushed out or not is largely immaterial now. He's gone. It's happened. He's managed 3 games for Luton, and we are managerless.

If he was genuinely pushed out, then of course I'm disappointed, it would've been incredible to see him manage us to promotion, but it doesn't change the fact that Wycombe Wanderers continues with or without MB.

I support the team and the club, regardless of who picks the team (cue Dan Rice picking the team conspiracy theorists).

I make a post celebrating Matt Bloomfield every day. He represented the very best of us for over 21 years. He’ll have my admiration and respect forever.

Obviously, otherwise I’d have prefixed every statement with ‘FACT’.

But we do know that Matt Bloomfield is a pretty honest, decent, human being. He has heavily implied in several interviews that a major factor in moving was that he felt wanted and would be involved in discussions regarding player recruitment.

Ergo, at Wycombe that wasn’t the case…

Amazingly almost everyone in the top ten managed to improve their score this game so there very little movement there.

Many congratulations to @wwfcblue for holding onto top spot and I believe closing in on @Shev's all time record for lowest ever score. Ten predictions closer than 56 is quite an achievement.

Congratulations to @DevC for keeping 2nd place and staying within reach of the top spot - @wwfcblue has the equivalent of a two point gap. Congratulations also on reaching the sub 50 Club with two fifths of the season still to go.

Congratulations to @Commoner keeping 3rd place and now with all best ten predictions closer than one hundred.

Many congratulations to joint Forecaster of the Week @perfidious_albion who is now joint holder of the best prediction so far this season and also joins the Sub 100 Club this week with a score now less than one hundred.

Many congratulations also to @thecatwwfc the other Joint Forecaster of the Week. That beautifully coloured "2 - Northampton (h)" for joint best forecast of the season sits quite tidy in the lower part of the table as an example those around you, but continue that sort of form and it won't stay there long. Aside from the two stellar predictions @Erroll_Sims and myself also recorded new personal bests for the season so far.

Nobody reached a new highest point in the table this weel but mentions for all those who moved up the Leaderboard - @mooneyman, who took 10th place, @a40: @robin; @DJWYC14; @MFH_Blue; @thecatwwfc - obviously and myself.

After everything Matt Bloomfield gave to WWFC this is best you can come up with. Wow. Such lukewarm sentiment.
