Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
It’s just about moving on and getting back to supporting the club really. The MB continuous discussion is getting very boring now.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
I see the bookies are now offering odds on Fergal Harkin.
This whole process is just proving that a good coach these days is hard to find
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
All this hand wringing over whether or not the previous manager got on with everyone at the club, what’s the f’ing point? Most of you gave less of a sh*t about the club moving out of the fans hands and into private ownership. That was the point you lost a say in these matters, not that the members really exercised any effective oversight in the first place. Nevertheless, if you didn’t walk then, are you really going to walk because a manager who has moved on may have not had all the control he desired? Please, if that is the case, do so already. I’m sick of all the whinging.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
At least Mr Empty has moved on from the Taylor & Morley loan spells ending being what ruins our season!
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
It is possible to both highly respect Matt Bloomfield's contribution to the club, whilst also believing that because he is now the manager of Luton Town, it's time to move on, regardless of the circumstances around his departure. The two thought processes aren't mutually exclusive.
I wonder if the likes of yourself would rather the next manager failed, just so you can say "I told you so" etc.
Re: Match Day Thread: Northampton
I had a look at our xG and xGA averages yesterday and the gap has been coming down. But we're still finishing chances just ahead of expectation, so if we can get the creativity flowing again then we ought to be fine - the defensive drop-off hasn't been anything disastrous, and it's to be expected with the injury/departure disruption there of late.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Thank you for speaking for me @glasshalfempty. I don't know if he was pushed out, I will never know. I support Wycombe Wanderers FC, not Matt Bloomfield FC. Frankly, all of these discussions (from both sides of the argument) are becoming extremely tiresome. I can already see that for some on here, whoever comes in next won't be good enough, even if they get us promoted.
