Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Don't want to be a total Debbie Downer but that was a hugely disappointing afternoon.
Conservative line-up, useless long-ball football, sluggish start in the second half, late substitutions, Harvie seemingly instructed to never cross the half way line (such a waste of a talent).
Green shoots: Xavier looked clever in his fleeting appearance; return of Sam Vokes.
But overall I'm unimpressed with Mike Dodds's tenure. Lots and lots of time to work on it all but so far, nothing to suggest we've upgraded. To me, we've gone from Bloomfield's Rolls Royce football to Dodds's workmanlike, run-of-the-mill Toyota. Not the direction I hoped for us.

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Bad day of results, but it's not meant to be easy.
Comfort zone trimmed to a mere 2 points, and must win again soon!
Simons probably comes straight in now. Looks a good passer and mobile.

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Well for a head coach that was a pretty clueless performance. If this is what he is capable of we are in trouble
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Totally agree on Simons - great range of passing, and would to see what he can do with a start on Tuesday.

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Simons looks promising. Fred seems to have been a few yards behind every ball in his direction.
Vokes not getting long but his goals per minutes is amazing this season.
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Everyone else winning - a late winner for us here would be absolutely huge.
