Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Who do you think is pushing him over? The team (playing his mates?) Or is Dan telling him what to...which would be strange as he's not playing his signings. I'm not sure what you mean.
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Mike Dodds - “I don’t want to make big changes and spoil the work that has gone before”
Wycombe fans - “Hear Hear, that’s great etc etc”
Mike Dodds doesn’t make big changes in his FIRST league game
Wycombe vermin fans “ why has he not put all 12 new signings in the squad, blah blah blah”
So utterly predictable and grim
Re: WWFC v Wrexham NOT selected for TV
I suspect those in drink complaining about new fans turning up were probably fans who barely turn up.
Wycombe is well known as a welcoming, cuddly environment...unless you want hot water in the toilets, decent food and a place to park.
Re: Today...
...in 2005 (20 years ago) Matt Bloomfield played 90 minutes for Wycombe Wanderers in a 2-1 League Two win over Scunthorpe United at Adams Park.
In 2011 (14 years ago) Matt Bloomfield played 28 minutes for Wycombe Wanderers in a 3-2 League Two defeat to Southend United at Roots Hall (replaced by Kevin Betsy).
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
He said he didn’t like the media stuff and would rather be out coaching.
It’s an extraordinary thing to pick him up on.

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
That's a very swift assessment.
Which bit was he talking about not liking?
As saw another bit where he said he actually enjoys making the difficult decisions, but will ensure players know why they're not playing. Which seems an ideal way of managing.

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Team struggling for points frustrates team at top...when did this start happening in football?
We all thought with the money and teams in this league we would be promoted by now.
X is league Two standard at best (might explain downvotes)
I don't see the players in training or know how fit they are so have no idea why the player that would have won this game for us was not playing.
I predicted a draw and I'm no Mike Dodds.
Still second.
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
2 wins and nobody will give a toss what he said in a welcome interview that most people didn't watch and those who did have forgotten.
No need to over exaggerate. He'll be judged on results, and not just the first two or three.
