Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Wholeheartedly agree with this @Erroll_Sims and with @Brownie.
I was very sad and emotional over MB’s departure and the circumstances surrounding it; I would be distraught and devastated if I could no longer spend at least a couple of hours every day - yes, I’ve become extremely slow in my old age - writing and reading posts on virtually every thread and searching for/acting upon (copying and pasting) snippets of information about the Wanderers and related matters.
I appreciate, @drcongo, that any decision to close down the Gasroom would be based on much wider considerations than the financial element but, to the extent that this might swing your decision towards carrying on, I would be very much in favour of chipping in.
Sincerely hope that you will decide to continue to provide this excellent and essentially civilised outlet for our thoughts and feelings. Thank you for having done so for so long.
Re: Match Day Thread: Northampton
And as it turns out, not the case at Luton either.
he said over the weekend the transfers are all on the Board and not him.
Re: Birmingham away
It is an absolute insult that it still hasn't been announced which games are going to moved around for tv and proof yet again, were it needed, that the fans who go to games are rock bottom in the list of football's priorities
Re: Enjoy an evening with Alan Smith at Adams Park…
This is the fella who tried to replace Jason Cousins with Jason Rowbotham and Paul Hyde with Sieb Dykstra.
He may well have signed Paul McCarthy God rest his soul, but other than this was a fooking disaster.

Re: Match Day Thread: Northampton
Well I presume someone is misinterpreting what he said then, as he’s mentioned the opposite on several occasions. See my comment here - https://gasroom.org/discussion/comment/386225#Comment_386225
And also from 3 minutes in this post match interview where he categorically states that he’s working with the chief executive and the recruitment team as a group - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0km26db
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Hope everyone who wasn't feeling great about things last night has had a good night's sleep and feels better this morning.
We've got a big game to win tomorrow. This place is always a happier place to hang out after a win
Re: Man of the Match - Northampton (H)
My first impression of that incident was that Eaves had his elbow dangerously high and should have been at least yellow carded by an otherwise competent referee.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
Come on chief, no-one needs that in their life on a miserable Monday morning!
