The lazy assumption with Luton was that it was a false position and they would climb right up the table by doing things a bit different, add in players who were maybe out of favour and didn't like the old manager giving a bit more , defensive reorganization and a signing or two and they probably shouldn't be anywhere near the drop...but they weren't down there due to luck, they lost most weeks in the division above meaning no settled side or accountability and probably have a few players who think they belong in the Prem. If they've lost all sense of reality and hard work it'll be harder for Blooms than QPR were for Ainsworth, and he'll be the guy who didn't really do much at little Wycombe rather than the bloke who got two promotions.

Two or three wins and he's a hero but scraping safety when they probably shouldn't even be in that battle won't save him if a bigger name comes available or he starts next season badly, and if there aren't any green shoots of recovery he won't last another month.

If they sack him Luton will have to pay him a fortune as he signed a 3 year contract i believe but at least his family will be set up for life.

Would of been carnage at the end if they disallowed the goal, we sat by the press/radio people and a cheer went up when it was confirmed he was onside. Still seemed to take an age for the ref to give it.

Minimum we deserved was a draw. Got back the car to see my Dad and 2 young nephews moaning at each other who's fault it was they left 30 seconds before the equaliser!

Most Luton fans that i've seen still blame the owners and their lack on investment rather than Matt.

But, if that Watford game could make or break him depending on what happens between then and now.
