Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
I posted in the first video of him arriving that he gave the wrong impression by hugging everyone even though he’d never met them. He needs to be able to make harsh decisions and let people know who is in charge. I got 10 downward thumbs for that post, I look forward to more

Re: Will Norris signs
I suppose we’ve had to revert to long balls forward now that we have a keeper who is not comfortable passing the ball on the deck. Sad.

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Didn't look like a promotion chasing team today.
I was amazed we didn’t start making subs from the 60 minute mark, thought the game was crying out for something to freshen things up.
Still could have nicked it at the end though, feel like we need something like that to get a bit of momentum going again.
Simmons has to start on Tuesday, was very impressed with his cameo. Personally I’d like to see Kodua and Taylor in too.
Re: Man of the Match - Crawley (A)
He enjoys foraging forward from centre back when he plays there and on one occasion today he fired a perfect diagonal ball across to Fred on the left. He was often in and around the Crawley box in the first half - opposite end from where I assume you were sitting or standing - and he even turned up wide left and in the final third on one occasion.
I enjoy seeing one of our own youngsters developing so well and I probably am a bit over the top with my admiration. It’s poetic licence aimed at encouraging emerging talent to blossom.

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Dodds seems like a massive pushover. Not cut out for management. Quite obvious in all of his interviews. “This is the bit I don’t like” when talking to Phil Catchpole. Eh? What a load of nonsense. How many of the other competent managers in the league would come out with claptrap like that?

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
When / if we lose a 5th league game of the season, it definitely will be worth giving this place a day or 2...

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Sorry, didn't realise @floyd had already made this correction
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
We have been far too average for far too long.
Failing to register a win in the last three weeks against Northampton, Cambridge and Crawley, all who are in the bottom 5.
We have spent huge sums on players who can’t even make the bench having been here 37 and 30 days.
Not one of our new signings has been an improvement on what we already had, Bradley has been superb but then so was Taylor and you could argue Bradley was the only player brought in who didn’t fit the data or added value. Great work by Matt to bring him in.
Our recruitment and retention of Kone and Low was very encouraging but why do I feel like we’ve had such a poor window for those coming in. Is it just me??

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
I'd say 'Group hug' but hugging is a sign of weakness.
(Not to be condused with Hygge, if our Danes are reading this. And they probably are as they have fuck all else to do)
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
13 points in 8 games since that Stevenage game. We are going backwards.
