Re: Match Day Thread: Bristol Rovers
Last time I went to Cambridge (the 4-1 win where Vokes scored twice) we had a 10 min walk to the car, straight out the city and back in Wycombe in about 2 hours. It was a Tuesday night so that would have helped, but yeah, found it very easy.
Re: Match Day Thread: Bristol Rovers
They have a brilliant cardio ward staffed by brilliant nurses/doctors. I have been admitted there 4 times in last 5 or 6 years.

Re: Birmingham and Burton KO moved
£32.50 and £28 OWWSA coach ... £60.50 or watch it for no more than usual £20 a month sky subscription.
I think i'm comfy to ruck this one off to be honest. That's taking the mick

Re: Match Day Thread: Bristol Rovers
Going back to the 90's there wasn't the internet so people were more likely to leave the house to do something.
Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
We are VERY lucky to have him here. We had no right to appoint him, fans fully behind him and locally spotted in Town with fans engaging with them.
Well loved already.
Re: Wheeler Signs for the Shrews
A fantastic signing, with his flexibility and work ethic. Good luck to the Shrews and all of the ex-Wycombe contingent!

Re: Match Day Thread: Bristol Rovers
Bristol Rovers?
Probably one of the easier ones to park at that doesn't have an official car park?
Though I might be judging that with a "as long as you don't mind a 10-15min walk", which I suppose you can level at Wycombe too!
But it's an exceptionally easy arrival and exit though.
Also, if you're early enough you can literally park in the road next to the ground.

Re: Match Day Thread: Bristol Rovers
The 2021 census shows the Wycombe population at 120k including Loudwater, Flackwell, Widmer, Hazlemere, Tylers Green, Downley and Holmer Green. We have a very large Asian population of around 15-20% which makes it even more difficult as generally they do not lean towards football.
The population of Shropshire who only have one league club is reported on Wiki at 516,000 with close to 300,000 within a 25 minute drive of Shrewsbury.
I am as disappointed as you with the attendances but we have so many barriers, the biggest is probably the ground location.

Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
I was just wondering today what Wheels was up to next. Another reason to follow Shrewsbury's games/results!
