Have to say, whatever anyone's views on FGR as a sustainable club/rich man's folly, it's pretty much the friendliest ground I've been to with Wycombe since we joined the FL - fans, stewards, bar staff. And the food was superb.
Even more frustrating given so many other results went our way. Reckon there's a reasonable chance of the red being overturned but makes no difference now, does it.
Col U lost 5-2 tonight. Don't want them to go bust but would chuckle if they ended up back in the Conference on footballing merit. Maybe they could reinstate Roy McDonut to get them back up.
What a psychological boost that would be - for the team and fans alike. And a few more nervous glances over the shoulder for those ahead of us.
COME ON YOU BLUES!
My uncle started working at the Scunthorpe steelworks aged 18. End of his first week his workmates took him to the pub, got him drunk and persuaded him to stick his entire earnings on a horse. It won at 6-1. He's never gambled since and turned 90 ea…
Shame Birmingham managed to get a point at Brentford tonight, which puts them 9 points + superior goal difference ahead of us.
In better news, Norwich are currently 7-0 up against Huddersfield with 10 minutes to play, so hopefully we won't have t…

Agreed - seemed a soft red last night but then so have at least a couple of ours this season.
Also, laughable of connected to Barnsley to criticise either our style of play or perceived play-acting. They were exactly the same on both counts but b…
Knowing Ellison, he probably would.
I do like Ellison - proper wind-up merchant and panto villain as well as regular thorn in our side, but aside from the Beanie hair-pulling idiocy, seems to do stuff out of mischievousness rather than maliciousn…
Seems like a weird time of the season to sack him (assuming he has been sacked rather than left of his own accord) - no chance for anyone else to come in and change things now.
Following on from Eddie Howe's sacking at Bournemouth it does make yo…
