  • Seriously though, if that was a viable option if they were evicted from the KS we must look at it. WWFC needs 101 ideas to bring additional revenue in. We need to stem the losses and give GA additional funds to strengthen the team and push on for a …
  • In the short-term a groundshare at Adams Park would help both parties if Oxford United are evicted from the Kassam Stadium. It would also give WWFC some much needed additional revenue (as opposed to egg-chasers).
  • As far as I can see the nett accrued losses increased 2009 to 2015 from £30m to £66m. Is this a successful tenure?
  • Gareth Ainsworth was very complimentary towards Luton on 3CR. He said we used to be able to give them a really good game but they have stepped up in class and would surely get promoted. He was very full in his praise of Luton. GA is a class act! …
  • @TrueBlu If you voted on what you know about the 2 bids already then fair play. Can you tell me the outlines of the the American bid please then I will cast my vote?
  • @Twizz Andrew Harman may not have made a formal bid yet but the outline of his plan is to put £2m into the football club over a 5-year timescale & £1m into an academy. Can you enlighten me with a brief outline of the American bid as I have do…
  • @Twizz If we had as much information from the Americans as we’ve had from Andrew Harman would you please be kind enough to tell me roughly how much they are planning to invest over what time period?
  • @Doob If this is what they got it’s (again) below their full entitlement. I’m surprised a club like Brentford doesn’t want to maximise their revenue - given their whole ethos is based on Moneyball.
  • @HCblue @rmjlondon As long as the segregation aspect isn’t compromised it is ludicrous to have empty seats in a stadium when there are people desperate to pay for them!
  • @HCblue From memory we were originally allocated around 2,800 tickets at White Hart Lane but after further discussions it was increased to just over 4,000. Had the tickets been available I think we could have taken 8-10,000. Regarding Brentford, …
  • Can I just say what a fantastic job the club & volunteers did to get the game played on Saturday. Some of the side roads in Wycombe were thick with ice and snow but Adams Park was remarkably clear and pathways created around the ground. Well don…
  • Fine. Let’s hear both then. After everything that’s gone on I’m not prepared to have both bids discussed in secret by the Trust Board then have one “recommended” on which we vote yes or no. We’ve had the outline of Andrew Harman’s bid, now let’s hav…
  • Because we were supposed to be voting on the American deal. If it’s a great deal & it’s passed by 75% then fantastic, let’s go with it. Andrew Harman has come up with something that would be a plan B if the American bid didn’t carry enough votes…
  • Total cop out. We need to know the American bid NOW!!!!
  • @mooneyman The difference though is that Andrew Harman is an ex-player with a very strong affinity for WWFC. He lives in Beaconsfield & will obviously have a very high-profile locally if he took over. That is something he’d not want to have unde…
  • All Legacy Members need to see the details of the American bid NOW.
  • @fromtheside Regrettably it is I’m afraid.
  • Unfortunately I had to miss the meeting with Andrew Harman on Wednesday. He has agreed to pop in to the Woodlands Bar tomorrow to outline his proposals to me, along with the season-ticket holders I go to matches with who hail from Lincoln, Leicester…
  • @StrongestTeam @Right_in_the_Middle The “random hotel” was chosen due to its proximity to the motorway as several ex-players have agreed to come too (some from a distance). I have no idea as the the time-line on the decision to hold a meeting thi…
  • I don’t know but if you can make the meeting I’m sure all will be revealed.
  • Satnav for the Holiday Inn: HP11 1TL
  • 1) Time to explore alternative investors & a different route forward. 2) “Non-transferable” season-tickets is another ludicrous idea. Doesn’t happen at other clubs. Simply then put your season-ticket in your own business/employers name. Who d…
  • Corinthian Casuals 0 Harlow Town 0 Some goalless draws are very exciting & have you on the edge of your seat. This match had you on the edge of your seat more because you’d fallen asleep & were about to inadvertently slide off it. I wa…
  • I disagree with Right_In_The_Middle. The whole concept of trust ownership is about extending democratic decision-making in football. Small points obviously have to be dealt with by nominated officers but a decision as far-reaching as this MUST be fu…
  • What I find very difficult to understand is why the 2 Americans were presented to the Trust members to strengthen their bid but another bid by an ex-player has virtually been ignored as far as Trust members are concerned. That ex-player has also bee…
  • Great game, fantastic result. Very impressed with the friendliness of the local people while the stewards enjoyed a joke & shared some biscuits with us. Complete opposite of Elland Road a few years ago. Would be lovely to play again at the Stadi…
  • National League South: Hemel Hempstead 1 Slough Town 1 Apart from the last 10 minutes this was a great advert for staying in front of the fire on a cold night. A shocking game littered with errors came to life on 81 minutes when Matt Stevens lat…
  • I do this for a living too Mon-Fri. The transport network in this country is getting worse & worse.
  • After the match you can always simply walk back to Tame Bridge Parkway Station. It’s 1.6 miles on foot from Walsall’s ground.
  • Met Police or Torquay United away for me.
