@bluntphil thank you for including the piece Oliver Darlington and sepsis. I was completely unaware of the symptoms, and as a parent of young-kids myself it was utterly heart-breaking to listen to.
An absolute joy again. As someone who started following the blues in the early 90's (whilst still very young) I only know about the 80's era from what I have read. These interviews were a superb window into that time, thank you so much for this po…
I do find it fascinating how much focus is put on the opposition by fans, both in the form of abuse or criticism of them, and the obsession with what they think about us.
I'd be lieing if I said I didn't get involved in the pantomime against cert…
This is a decent discussion... lets try to keep it on topic!
There is a debate about finding a system to fit all of your best players in, OR picking the best players for the system you want, even if it means some get left out.
This goes back t…
I can only echo everyone else's sentiments. The quality of both production and content is superb and we are very lucky to have the podcast!
@bluntphil do you have any stats on how many listeners you are getting so far?

As a legacy member, I have emailed trevor Stroud twice for clarification of the deal, no reply at all. Main question was how he thinks that fans will cover 25% of spending when the sums raised being fan owned looks nowhere near e…

Just to clarify. When I say “share” I mean email it to voters.
Sharing a confidential document, and keeping it confidential/for the intended audience only is a complicated and expensive thing to do.

Is the 'source' just what Trevor Stroud said at the meeting last night?
That's how I read it, although I hope there is more to it than that!
Just received from the Trust:
As of 10am this morning, 49% of all eligible members had submitted their vote online, and we urge all members to make sure they vote before the deadline of midnight on Tuesday 29th October.
I guess/hope the idea is to loan as small an amount as possible whilst they increase revenue streams from elsewhere.
This would back-up their intention to make us self-sufficient. It feels a big ask, but I would hope they feel confident of achie…

Whilst perhaps we could do a lot worse that Couhigs @chapmanio , what happens when they decide to sell up - as we have no say on who they sell to
Exactly, it's one of the many risks of selling. The problem is it feels an even …
I've felt the same @eric_plant I was hoping for "more" from the deal, but I guess in our position, and without including the stadium, could we really expect more?
Am I correct in interpreting that the 2.2m to clear debts, etc. is an investment an…
We shouldn't underestimate retaining ownership of the ground and (to an extent) keeping 25% of the club trust-owned.
There is nothing to suggest this other bid would offer this.
The timing of this is all a bit naughty isn't it? Trying to disrupt the current vote and increase the chances of a "no" vote so they get their chance?
...or am I being too cynical here.

I hope/think he's using this interest to help influence the investment vote, rather than genuinely being interested in the Lincoln job.
However, I agree with @HolmerBlue, it would suggest if it doesn't get voted through, he'd look to leave soon-a…
There are a lot of quotes for it to be fabricated, but it's certainly uncomfortable reading!
He's firmly putting his weight behind the financial backing, and it may be a contributing factor for bringing the vote closer.
Personally, I think he …
