I wouldn't be surprised if he signs for us permanently next season, as I can't see him reaching Championship standard any time soon.
He has a lot to learn but I think he can learn it with us rather than in development football. From the press bits and bobs he has done he seems keen and that will certainly help him. A step back for a couple of years could really see him move forward.
Better to play first team football and make your name rather than sit on the bench (if you even get that far). Worked very well for Kemar Roofe at Oxford.
I assume that January will not see the return of Mueller if we are retaining Scarr. WDH is probably happy to be on the bench. That gives us 4 proper centre halves plus 2 potential stand-ins in the squad. Enough in numbers, if not necessarily in quality.
