Good result but we made it hard for ourselves at the end.
Part of the magic of the cup for me is being in the draw and thinking I'd love them, don't want them etc.
Anyway back home now, felt a little weird having to sit away from the away end but that was due to my son being with us and sitting in the disabled section. The postive was we wasn't so close to the drum!
When we moved there from Newcastle in 1972 Forest were second division and County were third division, having just won promotion. My brother and I went to watch both clubs to see which one we would go and follow regularly and Forest was the better day out.
County got to the old first division in 1981-84 under the club legend Jimmy Sirrell but were relegated under Larry Lloyd. Got back there in 1991 under Neil Warnock but were relegated after one season. And in both of those spells they were very much lower bottom half.
I doubt it - I just know there are always fans with other commitments - I saw on Aldershot fan reference it on their forum, and there are ex-pat fans too, as with every club.
Not quite. Forest fans enjoy seeing young players loaned to Notts County and ex-players winding down their careers there. Personally, I still “f#ck1ng hate Slough”🎵
Reading through the comments about who we get in the next round… when we had our cup run to the semi final I think we drew Millwall away who were riding high in our league at the time so I guess anything can happen!
Haven't we had the Forest County debate before? Forest have always been the 'bigger' club so the rivalry has never reached that of the red and blue hatred of some Northern Cities...whereas Derby....
Nice to get a win today especially as I play football in Bradford twice a week and know plenty of city fans. Today's performance not the best and once we went 5 at the back we invited Bradford to attack us by doubling up on the wings and played to there strengths. Sign of a good team is not playing great and grinding out a result. Looking fwd to being back at Adams Park next week ,not so much the travel though.
Turned into something positive by Blooms to be fair. Lots of the Irish press are far more balanced than UK press generally not that it's particularly difficult to be

To be fair on them, Leatherhead were Premier League quality at shithousery and it worked for them before the ref sussed out what they were up to.
And JJ out-shithoused Sammy Moore
Home to Notts County please
Definitely not Oxford away 😮
Someone in a different division has to be choice 1.
Someone at home choice 2.
Is there all that much rivalry between Forest and County these days?

Not a great second half. No Potts and no way to get the ball to stick in their half with Hanlan. Improved with TJ. Very wet at the end.
Non league club at AP next please. Absolute worst would be Oxford away.
Not really in my 50 years of watching Forest.

About the same as between us and Slough

I’ve had similar thoughts myself…
Where has this picture come from?
Who do people think it is?

He must have been moved by the number of our supporters who signed his petition so was coming along to say thanks.
Wembley
Great scenes from all the northern Wanderers at Valley Parade today.
Wonderful to meet Boyes family
Sign on Harry!
Just seen the goals for the first time, what was their keeper doing !?
To be fair with the first one, it was struck very hard and it looked like the keeper saw it late due to the defender in front of him.
The second one was a shocker.
Good to see the criticism of Killian has been turned into something positive by the Irish media https://www.balls.ie/football/killian-phillips-wycombe-manager-proud-576935
