Anyone notice something very strange that happened in the Sunderland game

It is rarely seen in the game these day, anyone else spot it ?

  • The injury time played at the end of the second half was shorter than what was shown on the board?

  • A red card was actually given for wiping out the last man?

  • Wait, our Sunderland game?

  • It is still seen at the Emirates stadium, every other week

  • £10 burgers

  • Kick off was delayed so the football could complete it's adverts?

Over entitled fans who still think they're a big club?

Least ethically diverse starting 11*, deciding not to take the knee to support an anti racism message??

    *Absolutely no diversity

  • Are we referring to our game against them or the Lincoln one?

  • Our Game v Sunderland on Saturday.

  • A striker wearing high heels? Surely not!

Not someone coming on the pitch with a microphone geeing up the home fan base?

Although that doesn't sound subtle enough to be thread worthy! And i think everyone noticed it, just couldn't hear it!

  • Pleeeease put us out of our misery @ChasHarps !

  • Clue 2
"Your mum used to make you do this as a child"

  • Shirts tucked in?

  • Ah, one of the Sunderland players definitely had his shirt tucked in. And the Emirates clue is Kieran Tierney - one of the few PL players who does it these days.

  • no gloves on the outfield players?

    Spit into a tissue?

  • seems to be something to do with Jack Diamond, given the clue.

He was the one with his shirt tucked in

  • May be the right answer but not a good look! Could be useful in helping the ref to spot shirt pulling.

Modern shirts aren't very tuck-able, as opposed to the early 00s ones which are 50% sleeve and long enough to cover your modesty on their own.

Yes Jack Diamond came on from Sunderland with his shirt fully tucked in his shorts,
Tierney at Arsenal and Traore at Wolves also do what there Mothers tell them.
Can't think of the last Wanderers outfield player who tucks the quarters in ?

  • Traore also gets slathered in baby oil to stop players grabbing him and his shoulder popping out again

    I'm sure Gapey used to?

  • It wasn't that long ago that it was a rule that you had to tuck your shirt in was it?

  • At the start the teams came out after each other - Sunderland first, followed by WWFC.

@ChasHarps @eric_plant Didn't Brian Lee shout to Kevin Edwards to tuck his shirt in during a match sometime in the 80s?

  • My headteacher at RGS would gesture to boys walking home to tuck their shirts in as he drove past. Such a weird place, that school.
