Club announce socially-distanced block in Frank Adams

Comments

  • Used to have 3 or 4 of these blocks during the 2013/14 season

  • Yes and no... Sitting in the stands, even tightly packed around others, is really the least likely place you'll catch covid while watching Wycombe. The places people are likely to get covid are the toilets, the bars, the refreshment tent, pinch points when exiting the ground etc. While the club might not be in a position to socially distance in the toilets, bars etc, it's important those worried about picking up viruses at Wycombe need to go with their eyes open - a socially distanced seat will NOT protect you from the virus on its own. Always wear a FFP2 face mask when in an enclosed space or a queue and use sanitising hand gel regularly.

  • Perhaps fans who want to bring instruments could use those blocks, like Cacofonix from the Asterix books

  • Reminds me of when we tried to hire that Community Gospel Choir for an away game at Shrewsbury. Need to revisit that when times less interesting again.

Love that reference! That would make any stat-lover Vitalstatistix, I suppose...

Except Cacofonix never actually gets to play...
