  • Jacobson: 4 - 6
    Fred: 4 - 2
    Kashket: 4 - 1
    Uche: 4 - 0
    McCleary: 2 - 1
    Wheeler: 2 - 1
    Mehmeti: 2 - 0
    Knight 2-0
    Tafazolli: 2 - 0
    Horgan 1-3
    Admiral: 1-1
    Stewart: 1- 1
    Bloomfield: 1 - 0
    Samuel: 1-0
    Own goal: 1 - 0

One more JJ goal would make him difficult to overhaul, owing to those majestic 6 assists.

  • Sort of the best and worst golden boot competition of all time isn't it!

  • Maybe it should be the golden bootlace for this season, as the whole boot seems a bit generous.

  • I can imagine Kashket chuntering in the background about being top scorer yet never getting on the pitch :)

  • By far the better team lost at Kenilworth Road today. They've got Barnsley next....

  • Jacobson: 4 - 6
    Fred: 4 - 2
    Kashket: 4 - 1
    Uche: 4 - 1
    Wheeler: 3 - 1
    McCleary: 2 - 1
    Admiral: 2-1
    Mehmeti: 2 - 0
    Knight 2-0
    Tafazolli: 2 - 0
    Horgan 1-3
    Stewart: 1-1
    McCarthy 1-1
    Bloomfield: 1-0
    Samuel: 1-0
    Own goal: 1-0

Wheeler is close to joining the fray. With JJ injured, this may be between Uche and Fred, if JJ cannot make it back.

  • Does anyone not find it really strange how little game time Kashket has had over the last couple of months or so?
From being the only one of our players who was actually scoring, to next to nothing. Even his sub appearances seem to have been few and far between lately.
I know there were one or two games mid-season when he missed some good chances, but all of our front players have done that.
    Just find it rather odd.

  • Could it be the club are nursing Kashket injury wise, as didn't he have a chronic problem two years ago?

  • He did @mooneyman but his pace and fitness have seemed fine on the occasions when he has played. He’s come out unscathed from some pretty fearsome rough and tumbles this season too. Bit late in the day but there is still time for him to make an impact.

  • Jacobson: 4 - 6
    Fred: 4 - 2
    Kashket: 4 - 1
    Uche: 4 - 1
    Wheeler: 3 - 1
    Mehmeti: 3 - 0
    McCleary: 2 - 1
    Admiral: 2-1
    Knight 2-0
    Tafazolli: 2 - 0
    Horgan 1-3
    Stewart: 1-1
    McCarthy 1-1
    Bloomfield: 1-0
    Samuel: 1-0
    Own goal: 1-0

  • Could end up with 6 or so players on 4 goals the way it's going.
Do we do a top scorer trophy? Could be an awkward engraving job, as well as a little on the farcical side dishing one out if it's 4 or 5 goals total :)

  • Jacobson: 4 - 6
    Fred: 4 - 2
    Uche: 4 - 1
    Kashket: 4 - 1

    Mehmeti: 3 - 0
    Knight 2-0

    Stewart: 1-1
    McCarthy 1-1
    Bloomfield: 1-0
    Samuel: 1-0
    Own goal: 1-0

Eight players within a goal of the lead. This is going down to the wire...

  • Uche: 5 - 2
    Jacobson: 4 - 6
    Fred: 4 - 2
    Kashket: 4 - 1

    Bloomfield: 1-0
    Samuel: 1-0
    Own goal: 1-0

  • You forgot ...

    Stockdale: 0-1

  • I really blame Own Goal for us not being safe. One measly goal for us all season. His siblings on other teams scored a few against us too!

  • Jacobson: 5 - 6
    Uche: 5 - 2
    Fred: 4 - 2
    Kashket: 4 - 1
    Wheeler: 3 - 1
    McCleary: 3 - 1

    BAYOOOO: 1 - 1
    Bloomfield: 1-0

Crazy to think our left back may win the golden boot for a second season running, despite also having two direct goals from corners disallowed, and missing a chunk of the season. Special player!
