Only just noticed the group stage draw for the EFL Trophy was also made this morning. Can't say I'll miss being involved but are they not going to make any attempt whatsoever to play last season's final?

Apparently the intention is very much to still play it, but when fans are allowed back in (I assume so the EFL don't have to refund 50,000 Pompey fans). Seems crazy to me that they didn't play it behind closed doors around the time of the playoffs - Salford could've afforded to come off furlough - but that may have been too sensible for the EFL!
I forgot Pompey won it in 18/19, so they're simultaneously holders, finalists and round one entrants.
