The You Choose Cup - Semi Final Draw

It was tempting to seed the semi-finals, as I have my suspicions as to the top two clubs, but then I realized:

  1. Half of my assumptions have been wrong anyway.
    and
  2. Now we are at the semis, we will know if the 2nd most popular team gets knocked out in the semis. For instance:
    Team A beats Team B in semis, but loses to Team C in final = the 2nd best team lost in the final.
    Team A beats Team B in semis and wins final, and beats Team C by less than Team B = 2nd best team lost in the final.
    Team A beats Team B in semis and wins final, but beats Team C by more than Team B = 2nd best team lost in semis.

Which is just a roundabout way of saying the truth will out as to the 2nd most popular team one way or another - and that of course, all we are really trying to find is the most popular.

So, here is the semi-final draw:

Brentford v QPR
Sheffield Wednesday v Nottingham Forest

So, a London team will be in the final, but which one will it be?

And, a second tier team is going to win the whole cup, but which one will it be?
