He had no idea about ownership or understanding of fans support and continued to punish clubs and fans to support ludicrous ideas like regional lower leagues, B teams, that stupid ****trophy making loyal fans travel the length of the country on a Tuesday night.
Statement from EFL stars they want to go in a new direction. Let's hope so.

Good news for the Football League - unless if course the next person they bring in is even worse of course...
The concern for me is that it is the bigger Championship clubs that are being reported as being the key driver for this change. If the next CEO is appointed with a view to them being more aligned with the interests of the big EFl clubs that may not be an ideal situation for smaller clubs like Wycombe Wanderers.
He was a totally incompetent idiot but you really can't rule out the EFL bringing in someone even worse.
Harvey's two legacies will be the changes to the FFP, gutting lower league academies, and introducing U21 teams into the Checkatrade. What a ghastly bloody shambles his tenure has been.
If only he'd spend his time doing something productive to bring crowds, revenue and atmosphere back into lower league football, such as pushing more heavily for safe standing.
You can add the total inability to look at owners ruining their own clubs. A clear lead on this could have helped a number of clubs and set up safeguards that help reputable investors as much clubs.
