Though there was dispute from some about checkbook opening, I think an owner and a manager being so in sync as to signings as Rob C and Gareth were, is a rare thing that perhaps we should all have appreciated more at the time.
A man with big money is going to want to make sure him and his team keep an eye on how it is spent, if they are making or denying signings without input (and we do not know for sure that is the case), perhaps it is another facet of modern management that both Matt and us have got to learn to deal with.
(If we keep improving, other teams are bound to want our best players, I'm not convinced they don't have any say, but I trust MB and his team can do the business with the players he gets.)
Worth a mention that the Norwegian league runs March - November so he won't be coming in match sharp - looks like he's not played a competitive 90 since the end of November
It shows where he ranks in each of those categories in the Norwegian league, so from a ball-playing POV he looks like a very good fit for our system. You wouldn't expect a CB of that ilk to be making a load of tackles, so I wouldn't be concerned by that. As for the xT... Even I still haven't got to grips with that and I like to think I'm a right statto.
Expected threat. I *think* it's partly how likely a pass is to ultimately lead to a goal, but it fries my brain. I don't think it's ever going to go mainstream like xG...

Anders’ stats from this season so far:

Those passing numbers 🤤
The one thing I've taken from these charts is that I really want to see a clip of that solitary goal, scored from around 25-30 yards out.
So he can pass a ball and he's a monster in the air? Looking forward to seeing him in action then!
How much is that in WycCoin?
Altho the tackling numbers are a worry for a defender......
Well, as long as the stats are good...
Reminds me of a scan recently done on my gammy knee.
@aloysius not sure where your inflation numbers come from. Bank of England figures suggest £200k in ‘99 is £374k (not£412k) at todays prices.
I'm assuming this splashing of the cash is more or less reapplying the money we will get for Joe Low?

A defender who doesn't win tackles, either a worry or he's so good he doesn't need to make tackles and he's the new maldini
Were they playing at Oxford's ground?

Now you're talking.
I thought for a second they were playing us in our green kit!
I increased the fee to £220k based on @glasshalfempty's post at 3.07pm.
l stand corrected, missed that. Agreed.
I don't understand any of that chart, is it good?

Looks like he makes a lot of passes high up the pitch too
Excellent, thanks @flymofrank
Solskjaer and Haaland both played for Molde, so he better be good
Those heat maps suggest he's another left-sided centre back. Maybe Joe Low is staying
He's left-footed too. Everything crossed.
xT is expected tackles?
It's expected thumbs on here.

Slightly surprised we are bringing in both Hagelskjaer and Bradley, both left sided defenders, so not expecting them to both play together.
