Three questions for you cognoscenti. Who was the player in red administering the subtle nudge with his elbow and what match was it? Secondly, what was the game with Elbow Abd trying to get Bayo’s attention?
Where is he now ?
I don't remember El-Abd elbowing anyone for us - or was this against us before he joined? His only red card for Wycombe was for hair-pulling at Barnsley. And in answer to your other question, he's just been released by Stevenage.

What a strange move that turned out.
Captain of a promoted team and still into league 1.
Then suddenly dropped and shunted off to the team nearly bottom of league 2 - gets injured, but can barely get near the action at all even when not.
The photo with el-Abd and Bayo is from the checkatrade game against Stevenage back in October.
Mitrovic incident was only away from play in the sense that he was so late the ball had travelled down the other end of the pitch. You can still see the ball in the clip, so it's not really an excuse for the ref or lino to miss it! A deserved 3 game ban.
Does anyone have the running tally of JJ corners which either went in, were tapped in from an inch out, or hit the post/required a save? This is getting ridiculous!

Tough to hear commentators like Benjamin Broom saying that JJ "couldn't have meant it to go in."

At Pompey, it was so windy he almost managed to score directly from an out-swinger.

Do your research!
The day you worry about what a guy called "Benjamin Broom" says is the day to pack it all in.

Bond. Darren Bond?
Not sure it would have had the same cultural impact
Gavin Ward and Darren England on the other matches featuring our friends from down the M40
Two Championship refs, phew. Their last games were both biggies as well: Leeds - Fulham and West Brom - Birmingham.
I may have spoken too soon...

That's Aleksandar Mitrović for Fulham (I'm told by a Leeds supporter that the incident was away from play, so I'll let the ref off).
Oh.

Odd. Shows you have to enjoy the highs!
he obviously upset GA and was ruthlessly disposed of to our Burker King sponsored friends from Hertfordshire.
'From Essex with Love?'
Mmm. Maybe a massive stunt around the QE2 bridge but it doesn't quite work. Casino Royale or Sugar Hut?
'Cajun burger please. Bacon, no curd.'

A View to a Hill?
From Hillbottom with Love
The Living Downleys
I'll get me coat
Mousinho Royale?
The Living Bayolights
He has a powerful weapon
His deadly magic left foot
A left-back that's second to none
It's Joey Jacobson
Lurking on the edge of the area
Or crouched by the penalty spot
From the left corner, or even the right
It's Joey Jacobson
Love is required, whenever he's hired
It comes just before the kill
No one can catch him, no keeper can match him
For his unrivalled left peg skill
One golden shot means another poor victim
Has come to a glittering end
For Wycombe, he'll score against anyone
It's Joey Jacobson
His eye may be on Oxford or Pompey
Who will he bang?
We shall see, oh yeah!
Love is required, whenever he's hired
It comes just before the kill
No one can catch him, no keeper can match him
For his unrivalled left peg skill
One golden shot means another poor victim
Has come to a glittering end
If you want to get rid of a team
It's Joey Jacobson
We'll get it done
He'll shoot anyone
It's Joey Jaaaaaacoooobsooon!

you're just trying to sweep it under the carpet
He'll bristle at such a suggestion
It is entirely possible, and to my mind probable, that Joe Jacobson is the greatest corner taker in the history of the universe.
