Tonight's games to keep an eye on
Coventry v Bristol Rovers and Blackpool v Reading
So we know a Coventry win gives us the weekend of 25th-26th off. But it would be useful for Blackpool to win too and definitely have to play a matter of days before facing us. That said, even if they go out, they could have a league game - if Tranmere lose to Watford in their replay, which has been postponed until Thu 23rd. It's all a bit of a mess!
Basically, fingers crossed for a Coventry win tonight - or do we not want another weekend off?

Time off does not seem to help us. I hope all the L1 teams have bruising encounters but I would rather we were getting points on the table rather than having empty weekends myself.
Yeah, there's the effect on that all-important momentum - which the more I think about it, the more I think the break before Burton really hurt us. I think the worst outcome would be we play and Blackpool get the weekend off, though. But...if Cov stays on then we play Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday, so maybe a postponement wouldn't be the worst thing in the world?
Oh, it's also Oxford v Ipswich, where a win for Ipswich puts them above us on goal difference ?
Coventry 1 Bristol Rovers 0 after 4 mins
Tottenham Hotspur vs Middlesbrough on BBC 1 now.
Rochdale (our opponents on Saturday) already 0-2 down at Newcastle
Sounds like Oxford - Ipswich might not last the full 90, absolutely torrential rain.
Oxford game back on. Stopped raining now but 16 minutes of delays already.
0-3 down at half time
1-0 Cov at HT
3-0 Cov, looks like we'll be having another weekend of twiddling our thumbs. Five empty weekends this season if so - and six football-less Saturdays. Anyone know if that would be some kind of record for us in our Football League era?
@chairboyscentral The Shrewsbury game could yet be postponed also: international weekend, for which they have already called off a match this season due to call-ups.
Plus the second Bury weekend! I thought the fifth round of the FA Cup might potentially get in the away as well, but I forgot it's midweek now.
FT: Oxford 0-0 Ipswich
Second place is safe for the time being!
Wow...other teams having less than ideal results? Thought that was just us. Wheels still on...just.
Wheeler too.
