A total attendence of 5838 with 1453 perfectly well-behaved South Gloucestershire gutrot swillers in the Hillbottom Road end
Doesn't the away end max out at 1200?
It “maxes out” at 1800, I think. Used to be 2000.
You were anticipating quite a tight fit then?
@micra That was my understanding too. The work carried out to install proper perimeter barriers may have increased the capacity back up to 2,053 (if anyone is in the know?)
So we’ve lost, temporarily at least, 700 of the more fickle fans who attended the Blackpool game.
Fickle is probably unfair but I trusted them to come a second time and, in so doing, will probably have slipped out of the play off places.
I’m incensed.
mmm..... @braywanderer did well with the only prediction under 5000. His 4900 was 42 away from the correct 4858. Congratulations and respect to him.
A lot of people were within 10 of the correct away prediction - it would seem eight people gave birth during the game, or perhaps the policepersons in their end counted.

So far for the Quarters Derby we now have 26 predictions.

Welcome to @James and @Wisdom_Of_Harry who I believe are predicting for the first time.
We reckon a crowd of 5656 with 1075 gas. The would mean a Blue Army of 4581, which would be slightly shy of the opening day home crowd of 4656.
Could be an excellent atmosphere. Let's have a win.
I now have an idea for a season long attendance game - will post in a separate thread - apologies to the good doctor for the proliferation.
Updates to the spreadsheet at least once before Saturday.
5503 with 1251 horse punchers.

4900 chairpersons 999 gas people 5899 total I’m not so confident 2-2 cms pch
4376 home 1118 away 5494 total.
5580 (1089 away).
1-0 win (CMS).
Rovers have just announced 1020 away tickets pre sold with none available on the day. Therefore, I declare myself the winner
Interesting. Was it all ticket for away fans or has the number been limited for some other reason?
Anyone know why we made it all ticket for them?
@railwaysteve, has to be down to some of their fans borderline hooliganism previously surely.
1,020 is quite a low turnout for them, as they travel in vast numbers.
5962, with 1380 checking the weather forecast.
Having just actually read @DJWYC14’s post I retract my previous guess, obviously.
I’ll instead go with an overall attendance of 5602 and feel fairly confident when I say 1020 away...
Well played sir, only 12 out myself.
Hope there are no mounted police out tomorrow, if you know what I mean!
31 predictions - 5617 total predicted, with 1020 rovers fans in the stand and presumably 58 halfway up the floodlights waiting for thunder.
Small print - only changes which convert gasheads to chairpersons on a one to one basis are allowed.
Usual small print - no predictions after 14:02 please.
Looks likely a Tour de Season thread. will appear
It's 4,858 with 1,028 Rovers.
