Re: Wycombe Wanderers Women
FT Firsts 5-1 Sholing (HT 4-1).
Sholing took an early 3' lead, but a Puddefoot brace on 10' and 13' (a pen and a free kick), overcame that. Potter (22') and Kern (41') increased the lead, and Potter scored the fifth on 87'.
Re: Match Day Thread: Lincoln
Genuinely I think most of the "negativity" is a form of gallows humour to entertain ourselves when the game is dull. I know it must be traumatic to read in retrospect, but it gives us something to do while the ball is being played between Norris, Low, Bradley and Taylor and they are assembling the telescope to locate Kone marooned in the other half.
I don't think there is a supporter on here that is upset we won!

Re: Match Day Thread: Lincoln
We could have been arguing about semi final allocations right now

Re: Match Day Thread: Lincoln
Lincoln’s previous 12 league games before playing us read (W4 D3 L5)
Rotherham’s previous 12 league games before playing us read (W4 D2 L6)

Re: Match Day Thread: Lincoln
Joe Low is too good to “rest” but he probably won’t be with us next season. Jack Grimmer is an outstanding club captain and matchday skipper. Before Joe made RCB his own, Jack often occupied that position and was surprisingly good in the air. He’s not an out and out wingback.
As I’ve said before, if we’re going to continue to play three centre backs, as seems likely, Jack at RCB and Fred or “Gids” at wingback (if only in the situation an hour or so into the game when we’re struggling to take the lead) has to be a serious consideration.
Such a shame that our best left side wingback was put out for the rest of the season (I think we have to assume) by what at the time seemed a fairly innocuous “knock”. At least there now seems hope for Kieran Sadlier to make a return, if only from the bench.
Plenty of reasons for optimism.

Re: Culture Corner
I was born in 1963 @micra and though through constant exposure on the airwaves and the radiogramme meant the Beatles and most of the British bands became part of my DNA, I never really 'got' Dylan.
Years later someone explained to me that for teenagers in the 1960s, the lines 'Come mothers and fathers, Throughout the land, And don't criticize, What you can't understand, Your sons and your daughters, Are beyond your command...' was a thrilling statement for the times which were I suppose 'A-changing...'
Re: Other Football
It’s made my day as his behaviour when Brandon was injured still sickens me. I hope he never works in football again.
