Re: Updated squad numbers
And for that we should give credit to Matt Cecil - a Wycombe fan himself before becoming a club employee - and Phil Catchpole (@bluntphil) also a fan first. It shows quite clearly in the way they present themselves that it's more than a just a job to them both, although they are never less than professional when doing their duties in march days.
I'm sure there are others helping them too.

Re: David Wheeler departs
Ainsworth is quoted in the above article as saying:
’"I know everyone will talk about free agents," he continued. "I'm sure there'll be questions about Jason McCarthy and David Wheeler and people like that who've cancelled their contracts at Wycombe.
"I'll have to say now before those questions come, that I spoke to both of them, tried to get both here, and again hit a bit of a brick wall.
"I think they're both pursuing different things now in their lives, and that's fine. That's their choice.”’

Re: Updated squad numbers
We’ve signed 12 players and six have departed in a month (not to mention a change in manager/head coach). That’s an awful lot of work for any media department, let alone a media department who have never seen previously that level of activity.
Re: You are the Boss! 2025 WWFC Edition.
If we win it, it will obviously be the best League in the country and I will be grateful for being around for this great period of exciting football. 😉
Re: You are the Boss! 2025 WWFC Edition.
I don't agree there @bookertease as I think if we go up (even if none of the newbies play in L1 - which they obviously will at some point) MD has a whole summer to get the squad ready for a Championship campaign. I think it's easy to be cynical about owners and their motives...but surely some sort of success is to be welcomed and even if we come straight back down he can carry out his 'master plan' but with a bit more money and a bit more kudos in the bank with fans and potential academy recruits.
I know I should like the Prem @flymofrank but I just can't.
Re: David Wheeler departs
Looking at the pictures of David Wheeler saying his goodbyes at Harlington is hard.
It just leaves me feeling immensely sad.
David Wheeler is a man who leads by example, on and off the pitch. It was a real pleasure to watch him play.
Re: Mike Dodds
Very positive, a nod to past regimes, respect for the caretaker staff and recognition that it should not need too much change at this stage of the season. It must be quite exciting to think you may oversee a promotion, an FA Cup final and could be coaching in the second tier in your first head coach job.
Re: You are the Boss! 2025 WWFC Edition.
There are certain unsavoury and soul-sucking aspects to the Prem, but I'll never understand how anyone who loves football can criticise the product on the pitch for entertainment value etc - it's the best league bar none. Wycombe take precedence, obviously, but otherwise I'm watching a Prem game - we're blessed to live in an era of such high-quality football.
