I like the idea of a fairly old fella using the word "banger" and not meaning a wreck of a car.

If we have about 60 players surely none of them have to be that fit...20 mins here and there.

My grandfather supports Wednesday. He sent me a text saying:

"He’s a great guy; he scores bangers, is good at set pieces, delivers pin points crosses, and has solid link-up play. However, he is fairly slow, so it's best to use him as a left wing-back or left-back alongside a left-sided center-back who can cover for his lack of pace when tracking back. He’s a useful squad player because he can play both left back and in central midfield."

I hope he finds his happy place. Whether that is back in the pro game of just enjoying kicking a ball around at the lower end of the pyramid.
