Re: Which type of club is it the most fun to support?
Following Wycombe gives incredible highs and lows and the chance to achieve great things. A cup run; being 2-0 up at half time away at Spurs; avoiding relegation from league 2 on the final day of the season; Wembley finals; the championship: top of the league…it’s a lot more than most clubs can offer!
Re: Match Day Thread: Blackpool
You mean High Wycombe isn't sufficiently convincing proof that it's not?!
Re: Match Day Thread: Blackpool
Downticks, upticks.
Thumbs up thumbs down.
Who cares?
It's a tool with the sole purpose of boosting/deflating ego. If you take it personally then this isn't the place for you.
Re: Match Day Thread: Blackpool
You must be confusing us with De Koningshoeven Brewery. Easy mistake to make.
Re: Match Day Thread: Blackpool
Yep. I got downvoted for posting that Wycombe were founded in 1887 🤷♂️
Re: Rumour Mill
Same reason as Wrexham don't isn't it? Donations from owners, as long as they're not Hayes style loans, count as football fortune and thus count into their ability to spend?
So make your huge purchases this season and as long as the wages aren't too mad, their big crowds and champs money will make it all fine next year?
Re: Rumour Mill
Imagine the scenes on this thread if the club’s next ‘incoming’ announcement is a new data analyst for the Academy. Total meltdown.
