Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
This was my concern with Luton job, he won't get time. He got a really good crack with us despite results but we were fighting for nothing. They are fighting for their survival.
A quick look on socials will see comments along the lines of 'we are worse', 'lack of organisation', etc etc. Losing the fans after a month is what happened at QPR for Ainsworth
Re: Other Football
Looks like they’ll need to average nearly two points per game to avoid relegation. 1.74 probably wouldn’t be enough. Doesn’t look good. Or does, depending which camp you’re in.

Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
If he’s given time he will turn it around, he’s a great manager.

Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
I would have thought Al*n Sm*th would have been an enthusiastic fan of social Darwinism.

Re: Wycombe Wanderers Women
Perhaps the need to look after the pitch is a factor in the move, in this wet winter. It does not seem to be playing as well as last year, when Darren Ferguson said it was the best surface in the division. I think that has affected our play. At least it's having a good long break from games at the moment. I seem to remember we started off with two lighting rigs, I wonder if the club have invested in any more.
Re: Other Football
Got a couple of tickets in one of the lounges. Took Sadie to her first Derby match, she's been more Wycombe games than Everton but she likes both and was absolutely buzzing at the end.
Also managed to get a few tickets for the first test match at Bramley Moor on Monday night, so taking Sadie and Rosie. No disabled seats available for that game but have got Ellis a season ticket at the new ground right on the half way line. Still planning to go to as many Wycombe games as possible.
